This 24 Day tour takes us to the Desert tracks of South Australia and on to the Northern Territory, returning home via the southwestern corner of Queensland. We travel the Oodnadatta Track to join the Stuart Hwy. then on to Uluru (Ayres Rock). From here we journey to Kings Canyon, then follow the Finke River to Palm Valley to arrive at Alice Springs. Leaving The Alice we turn southward visiting some ancient Aboriginal rock carvings and on to Chambers Pillar. This track follows the Old Gahn rail line to the town of Finke, then on to Dalhousie Thermal Springs. Once we leave the Springs it will take 4 days to cross the Simpson Desert heading for the town of Birdsville. From here we journey to the settlement of Innaminka, then travel the Strezlecki Track to Tibooburra, where it's time to head for home.
