Exclusive Mudgee Weekends for Couples.

Tired of the stress in the office or desire to just hang out for a couple of days?.

We invite you to join our exclusive tour to the beautiful Mudgee, located in the Cudgegong Valley and surrounding areas. Here you will be able to sample some of the finest wines and dining that the area has to offer and in luxurious comfort.

Climbing aboard our luxury 4 Wheel Drive we leave Sydney behind and travel west via Richmond to join the Bells Line of Road. Here we take a short detour to inspect some fascinating areas of the Blue Mountains. Stopping at the Glow Worm Tunnel we take our luncheon break, feasting on prawns and oysters, washed down with a glass of wine. Leaving here we next visit some ancient Aboriginal art, to finally join the Mudgee Rd. We make one more stop at Pearson’s Lookout to marvel at some of nature’s finest work before arriving at our destination for the night.

Here we are greeted by Robbie and Errol Holdaway of  Forgandenny, Fine Bed & Breakfast, a century old building in the centre of town, described as an "historic treasure" in a recent edition of Australian Country Decorator. Dinner can be at one of Mudgee’s fine restaurants or you can cook your own at the local pub. The steaks are excellent.

Awaken to smell of freshly brewed coffee and the sizzling of bacon and eggs, we spend the day touring the historic township of Gulgong as well as sampling some of the local wines. Returning to Forgandenny, where afternoon tea is served on the verandah, the rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. Wander around Mudgee, have a game of tennis or just settle back and read a book. We will provide transport to and from your dinner location.

After an another hearty country breakfast, we farewell the Holdaway’s and head out for the Old Gold Mining town of Hill End. Lunch will be prepared as you wander around the various historic buildings of this once vibrant town. Leaving Hill End we journey along a convict built road to the town of Bathurst where we turn our tour for home.
